painting inlet manifold

I'm hoping to paint my inlet manifold today to make it look a bit more tidy. I have seen some ppl have painted the cam cover to can you remove this to paint it or do you just mask it up?.....sorry if this is a stupid question or if it has been answered I did try to find a thread.

Leave the cam cover on the car when you spray it. I'd take the inlets off though.

Ok nice one, yeah I planned on taking the inlet and the rail cover off just wasn't sure on the cam cover cheers mate

dont take the cam cover off!! ever!!

you need to fit the correct tools to keep the cams as theyre held down by the cam cover!
