Need Insurance help!!!!

Well this is being a good year so far had to claim for vandal damage this year which has knocked my NCB down to 2 years. Also the claim was worth over 2k :-/

Anyway im 26, work for Tui Travel, 2 years NCB, no points, 2004 clio 172 standard apart from upgrade exhaust.

Churchill who i am currently with say they wont renew (went online as a new cux and came up at £1800 comp)
Cheapest on comparethemeerkat was £2307
Just been on to Sky and they have come back with £2400!!

Anyone got ANY suggestions?? Still need to try brentacre/greenlight/flux etc

Brentacre and greenlight are always the cheapest for me.. so try them first

Like I awalys say, only way to get cheap insurance to spend a good few hours going to every insurance company and getting a quote, I always seam to find one thats way way cheaper than the test, like this year greenlight/brentacre where pretty much £600 cheaper than anywhere else.

Admiral and elephant are the cheapest for me by several hundred pounds. Im 21 and have 1 years no claims and I only pay £1100 on my own on a 172 cup

I'm having a look around at the mo. I'm currently with Direct line and pay £530 fully comp but it hasn't come down for the last couple of years.

I'd give them a try as when I first got my Clio Sport they were the cheapest by around £400.00, they also let you pay monthly as some companies that give a low price will want money up front and your ex will be sky high! Keep looking tho as it sound like you really don't want to loose your 172 sport!

Try Livingstone Warman - not sure what they'll be like with claims on the policy, but cheapest for me in Manchester by far

Direct Line are always pretty good although i am with Tesco now, DO NOT USE ADRIAN FLUX - Yes they may be cheap but you will see why when/if you change your vehicle or need to claim again. treat them like the plague!!!!!

My renewal has just come through this morning aswell Tim, im looking at £1700 for it with brentacre through their renewal but ive rang around so far and only 2 companies have been able to beat it, Sky has come back at £1550 but Greenlight has just emailed back with £1150. Going to ring them tomorrow to check on all the details and then try Brentacre with my other offers and see what they can do. I tried Adrian flux and they were pointless tbh.

Flux best my nearest quote by £500 this year! Not bad since last year they didn't want to know, i wasn't even going to bother calling them. Paying £1k, 19/2ncb/similar area to where you are i'd presume

tescos are good too, make sure you phone them though, i went with them the first year off of an internet quote, phoned them and they said they cant beat make it any cheaper over the phone, this years renewal came through they were taking the royal piss, so I rang them and they took 150 quid off. well worth the phone call in my eyes.
