Love the wheels and ph1 rear lights. Not sure about the headlights but other than that very nice.

Scrap that, just looked at pics and saw what you have done.
What did you use to black it out? Is that just a brake duct glued in place or something?

Looks great, ph1 lights do look good on a Monaco.

Have you got a link to the hose you used for the fattys/ktec kit? Been looking for silicone hoses rather than the shiny one.

Actually just seen its 2 joined together I think? Thought it may have been one piece like the ktec ones.

It's 70mm bass port tube from the local Wilcos glued in an all painted over in gloss black.

It is 2 pieces with a 100mm X 70mm joiner between them, best way to do it without chrome pipe or K-tax costs.

A little update, nothing major... I've had a abs issue for a month or so, this morning I decided to take a look an see what's up.

IMG_1006.JPG

Split abs ring found to be the culprit but assessing the whole hub situation I've decided new track ends and lower arm bushes need refreshing at the same time bearing in mind there is no play in the joints

And whilst the wheels were off I decided to carry out the "I wish I had Brembos" mod (I do have discs though haha). I also have other mods in the post to me as I type including new OMP wheel and boss as well as a powerflex dog bone mount.

  Hi comp phase 1
Nice  Which paint did you use for the calipers ?
Keep up the good work :up:

  dan's cast offs.
would be daft to do bottom arm bushes and not replace the ball joints at the same time.

powerflex insert is good but ideally with set of new mounts otherwise it will show up how worn the others are.

Just going back to this sorry as I'm looking at ordering the parts for mine. Did you not find you needed 2 jubilee clips for around the joiner?

Looks awesome in this picture mate!! Good looking car. The OE wheels look huge for some reason...And i'm now tempted to pop PH1 lights on mine now.

I read that you've put 16mm spacers on. I assume that was the fronts, what spacers on the rear??

Looks nice this. Seems there are a few round Norfolk that I'd not noticed until I found out Steve had one!

Yeah there is quite a few which I really like, reminds me of the old RS Turbo days when several of us had those and went to the meets......... I nearly bought a 182 in 2013 but went for something different in the end, but fast forward to 2016 and I finally got one. Cars like Ollie's might have had something to do with this

I do miss the old RSOC days! I must say, I haven't got too involved in the Clio scene so far, but now know quite a few people with them. You've had loads of cars it seems. Last time I saw you, you had an Astra VXR!

Was that the last time I saw you!? Blimey! That was 2013 then, since then I've had a grey series 2 straight after the Astra, 25th Anniversary Mk4 Golf GTi in silver, another EP3 Type-R and then the Clio haha........... i'm settled now though, enjoying Clio-ing!

Back on topic, if your stuck for a Momo boss @T9 0LLE , have a look here as well;

Opie oils have to order them in but I THINK it's on a 2-3 day basis, forgot I emailed them before I got one from Merlin

Bonkers ain't it?! I guess I would have had the ST220 at that point. Since then I've had a Volvo V70, the Clio and currently got a Golf R. Also still got two RS2000 rally cars and an old four door MK5 Escort. I need to sell some of them though lol.

Have you got any more closer pics of your brakes. My inner rebel is telling me to do mine red. Rears are currently silver and fronts are currently rusty!
I didn't take one with the wheel off, just this other one.

Do you happen to remember what size the grommit you used for the washer blanks is at all?
It was a about 7-8mm, was a multi pack from halfrauds that I used.

Inner rebel 😂 This gets the like!

What about fresh silver for yours all round though? Mine are going silver very soon  Or are you feeling something 'a bit different' ?

The problem is Steve, i feel the silver is lost behind the white as the white is so bright.

I'm thinking of doing them a grey colour or go bold with red. Any other colours won't work I don't think.

Oh of course!! The white wheels..... 🙈 yes i'm with you now wouldn't work would it, gold can look smart but again, defo not with the white wheels..... I think grey would look pretty oem but red would obviously be a stand out colour
