Lens question

I am wanting a 50mm lens for my Samsung gx10, which takes any pentax k-fit.

I am confused, as some of the pentax lenses are selling on the US forums for $250 and then there are ones like this on our ebay over here, which in looks and spec appear to me to be the same.

Is the lens on ebay a poorer quality one, or just cheap?

Will it produce the pictures i want, similar to this flickr album:

The ebay one is SLR, so will be old, but may still work, I don't know if it will.

It should fit, afaik all k mount lenses will fit.

I emailed the guy who's flickr i linked to, and he just replied saying it is the same lens, so think i'll take a punt for the price!

Ive come to the conclusion that my crappy pictures are due to using the kit lens' so i need to try some different ones, to be honest i wish i'd gone canon now, not much new stuff about for the pentax/samsung but it was cheap at the time.

Can always upgrade in the future mate.

Give it a shot for that price, not really losing much.
