Interior light stays on???????

My interior light stays on after i shut the door, it does not turn off even when driving,
theres also a symbol on the dash showing that the door is not shut,
i have checked all the door switchs and they are fine, i can not lock it by the remote
as my alarm will go off, does any 1 have any ideas what it could be???

Door sensor might be disconnected or the switch is broken or the wiring connection are corroded.

i have had them all apart and it still does it, think it might be a relay or something but i don't have a wiring diagram 2 see which relay it is?

It won't be a relay
Have you checked all the doors the boot one is famous for failing.

i have not got a switch on my boot!! i checked the door switch but theres still no joy
