Insurance Renewal higher than last year

Anyone ever get a higher renewal price than last year's premium?

Mine has jumped up about £50 this year (still the cheapest quote I have from running a few online)

Just wondered is this normal as previous years the premium dropped quite a bit.

Everyones have gone up this year fella, loads of threads on it. Something to do with a few insurance companies going broke so prices gone up to cover there backs

Cant you haggle them, it works over here, just say no i can get it cheaper from so and so and put phone down, they always ring back lol.

Just phone them up, mine went up too, ended up going over the details again and it dropped.

I ring around each year, and every time Elephant have come good and gone back to my first year' cost.

this year I even managed t oget the price down!
