Call the AA, tell em you got a flat and you need the wheel changed. They'll bust out a special tool to take the locking nuts off, then ask him to loosen the rest lol.

had the same problem. renault dont have a master set, you should have a code in your docs and they order a new one for you. i just took my car to every garage i could find. eventually one garage was able to get them off. only wanted a tenner for aswell.

I tried the 3/8th and no luck, got breakdown out, they could not do anything, however they said Halfords do a device to remove these lock nuts, so I stomped to Halfords to buy it and worked a treat

Halfords never cease to amaze me. Wheel locking nuts are there so that you can't just take someones wheels off....and yet you can now buy something that will take any wheel nut off.

most garages will have a socket set to remove them they've got reverse thread so you hammer them on a little then using a nut gun on un-do they usually wizz off.

probably wouldnt cost more than a tenner

Yeah, mine is an impact socket with a reverse thread, I put it on my air gun and have it on remove setting and it screws on and takes the nut off
