getting pictures off ipod

My pc crashed and had to be restarted losing all my pictures, but i do have them on my ipod touch, is there anyway to get the pictures off the ipod and onto my new pc ?

Same with the songs but im not to bothered about them as i can always get the songs again where as i cnt get these pictues back.

Google exactly what you've asked here, and you'll find many programs that will do it.

You can just plug the iPod into the PC with the USB cable and it should appear as an external hard disk. Open it up, go into the "Apple100" folder (or whatever it's called these days) then you should be able to find the photos in there.
At least that's how I do it on my iPhone when I want to take photos out of the "Camera roll" and move them to the "Photo library".

I used to use some software called SENUTI, and EPHPOD to would assist doing this.
