Release bearing on the way out... It'll get worse until it eventually fails.

release bearing deffo. will get worse untill it colapses then gets stuck in gear. not sure on clio parts but probs a 50 or 60 quid part, if a garage does it, probs looking at a bill in excess of a grand with labour. Get the tool box and engine lift out ;)

You can't afford £60?

Realistically, there's no point in having this changed without the clutch, at all.

So:

Full three piece clutch kit (including release bearing) £130.

Fitting: Free if you can fit a clutch yourself (about a 5-7 hour job on the floor)

Total cost from a mechanic is between £500-800
