Drive Shaft Boot Clip - Gearbox End Question??

..I'm part way through replacing a drive shaft on my 172 FF.

The clip that holds the boot on at the gearbox end has come off the replacement drive shaft.

The clip looks like this:-

It's proving to be a real pig to put back on as I don't have the proper pliers.

Can I use normal metal cable ties like these ones:-

or maybe an adjustable one like this:-

Any advice greatly appreciated :)

You can use any as long as they are secure, those first ones are a b**ch to get tight i gave up and used one similar to the adjustable ones

..thanks mate

I was worried about it being gearbox end because of the risk of it losing its gearbox oil, i'll order one of the adjustable ones.
