    Hi there

Got a clio 1.2 tce Dymanique SX. have already fitted a performace exhaust, a K & N 57i induction kit and a forge motorsport Splittler dump valve. Going to get it re-mapped soo and just wondering if anyone already had if so whats the results ;-). Also if there was anything else i could do to improve performance like change the injectors, where could i get this done?

    Cheers

Sorry i cant help you with upgrades here but...

TBH i think you better off saving for a new car as it is still only a 1.2 engine and the mk3 weighs a small elephant...

    results are around 125bhp iirc??
As said a bigger front mount will help, but the standard Engine management holds the capabilities back a fair bit.

They map well, but injector duty cycle is a concern. Even in stock form they hit 100%!

Actually it only weighs 1090Kg (as much as an average 1*2) and the 1.2 engine comes with 100ps and can easily go up to almost 130ps with not too much money (advantages of a turbo engine).
Mapping takes it from 100 to 124ps and the exhaust/filter will take it close to 130. Not bad at all.

Nice car for the money mate

    Hi,

Cheers for the replies, got it remapped and it makes it a bit better at overtaking and things like that. The K & N induction kit has been removed as i was getting really annoyed with the constant hissing noise coming from it ;-). Does anyone know where i could go about getting a front mounted intercooler from?

    Cheers

Have a look at forge FMICs.
also, measure up the area you've got to play with in the bumper and consider buying something off ebay (OEM skyline/Evo Intercoolers.)

Would you say the remap was worth it? I'm looking at getting it done next year.

Had mine tested and remapped by Midland Remaps at 78,000 miles the car had dropped to 90 Bhp & 100.8 ft-lbs torque,
they got 120.1 bhp + 143 ft-lbs of torque so it is worth it.

I wouldn't want one of these mapped on standard injectors. When paul @ RSTuning done my before map when the car was 100% standard it was hitting 100% injector duty above 4500rpm

even with the 172 injectors fitted and a map it was hitting 85% duty on the 172 injectors im sure!
