cheap modified car insurers??

hi, any1 no good insurers for modified cars? i need to look at listing all my mods when i get my car back and insuring it, i cant imagion its gona be cheap. any 1 got anything similar and insured it; im 24 with a clio 182, its got a turbo kit on it, coilovers, miltek exhaust ect. any1 got any advice on whos good for this type of insurance and any figures if any1 is insuring something similar? chears

no probs mate,

not that I can compare insurance with you but I am 21 with 4 years no-claims on a highly modified 1.2 clio and I pay 870 for the year with greenlight (although I live in Huddersfield</=Iraq)

and the upside with greenlight is mods only cost when they increase the BHP by a fair bit

Another vote for Greenlight. With mods declared it was £600, everywhere else I tried was getting upto a grand with mods.

Give Brentacre a call as well, they have always quoted a fair wedge less than others for me.

Green light would not insurer me , brentacre covered all the mods & full comp & it was still £150 cheaper than Lv for a std 172

Green light u have to have at least 1 years no claims Brentacre u dont, ill be insuring with them in a couple of weeks

I have the full n/c & Lv were just to greedy that's why changed and saved £150 with all the mods

Looking at your details mate i cant see why you wouldnt meet our criteria, you live in a good area and have NCB it would definately fit our discount scheme?
