Average cost of a Nurburgring trip

What sort of money have people paid to take their car to the nurburgring? Im talking about the whole trip really including ferry, accomodation, fuel, BEER!!! Also anyother stuff like insurance etc

Depends on the ferry prices. This years Spa trip cost:

Ferry: £82.50

Hotel: £100 deposit the 110 euros a night.

Fuel: 3 tanks worth.

Plus, food, beer and any insurance people brought.

Speedferries.com Dover-Bolugne (sp?) and costs £50 return

You have to add travel insurance, AA cover and you may need to pay a little extra to drive your car abroad (Greencard).

All in all it does add up, but its well worth it!

Driving abroad is great fun, do it several times a year.

for those worried about driving on the wrong side - its pretty simple and you get into it in about 5-10 minutes.

I actually prefer driving on the right. It feels more natural to me for some reason!

I did 4 days last year including travelling and for 2 people it set me back £600 - inc everything (lots of beer too lol)
