A full fat 172 has a different bottle with 2 pumps which are controlled by 2 relays and the UCH. The level sensor sits on the rear beam and links to the motors via the UCH. Your cup wont have any of these connections or sensors on it, to get them all working your looking at a new UCH plus...
If its a fast paced pulse then it could be a fault in the abs system going in to safe node, usually the cause is a faulty abs sensor, grease or dirt on the pickup or a blown fuse, bad connection to the system.
wireless N only works at about 40% in good conditions and the speed is measured in bits so with overheads in the packets and encryption 1.5MB is quite good.

There isnt really any need for an oil cooler on a 172, i have one fitted but leave it taped up because the engine doesnt get up to temp fast enough even on the track.
To me it sounds like its mis-firing the cat will be glowing because of extra fuel being thrown into the exhaust.
Check all the plugs and leads and coil pack are all tight. The leads may have got wet causing them to arc (same symtoms) spray them with wd-40 to get rid of any moisture.
Use the combined temp and level sensor from a valver, thats what i used. Screw it into your oil level hole and use the spare wire for your oil temp gauge.
