It's a phase 1 mate.
I'm close to thinking of scrapping the car and cutting my losses. I don't know if the sensor will fix it and I don't want to sink ££'s into a car which isn't worth much. I don't vitally need a car ATM anyway.
The bracket on the engine side? I undid the bolt, bit it's still there just has some give. Thing is the battery won't move at all, so I can't tell what it's up against.
This 'lip' thingy at the bottom of the battery on the engine side might be holding it fast? I dunno? Can't see how to get to it.
God I feel so useless.
Battery went flat over a couple of weeks I think 'cos I left the bluetooth OBD plugged in.
So I need to yank it out re-charge it inside (I live in a flat and can't run an extension).
But the bloody thing just won't budge. I seems to be under a little lip on the engine...
Needs the pre-cat O2 sensor changing.
I'm central Manchester and don't want to drive very far 'cos it drives terrible at the moment, will almost stall all the time.
Thanks.
I'm worried it isn't the 02 sensor though because I haven't heard of this problem causing a terrible idle.
It idles a little better when warm but is constantly almost stalling when idling. I have to give it a little throttle to keep it running.
I fairly sure all cylinders are firing and I've...
So I had this error code going back since I had to replace a injector. The code went away after the injector was changed, then it reappeared, except the car was running fine...until today.
Today I drove the car, it was fine until after about 5 mins (it had warmed up) then stalled at a...
Now I'm confused because I changed the injector and it's still the same; if I take the lead off the coil pack the note is the same but if I take the plug out of the injector the engine slows.
If I unplug the lead 4 from the coil pack the engine note doesn't change. As I place lead 4 back on the coil pack I can see the electricity arcing so I am assuming the spark is ok (I checked the plugs), so this must be injector 4 right???
Does anyone know the best way to back off the bolts holding down the coil pack? I can't get any socket to fit over them because of the tiny gap between the bolt head and coil pack body. Stupid design!
I drove home yesterday with the engine warning light on, then was driving it about today (after putting fresh fuel in) and the warning light started flashing and it sounded funny...like boxer engine...so I presume a cylinder isn't firing. It's low on power too and will stall when moving off...
I meant to mix it with the concentrate. What do you put into your radiator? Holy water blessed by the Pope and filtered 100 times through a virgins panties?
