Really not sure if it comes off, i personally just cleaned mines up on both sides. That material seems to stain pretty badly. I use autoglym plastic and trim gel and they come up nice and dark again like new. Matte carbon might look good tho. Just to let you know about the rear bumper...

saw a black mk3 (looked like a dynamique s) non-sport today with black canasta's parked at flats near the subaru dealership in Falkirk. looked lowered. Anyone on here?

All booked in for Wednesday, think this finish is as close to the renault anthracite (205110) as i could find, TWS anthracite was definitely too dark for me. Found these pics on their facebook of a focus st with the same finish. (light gunmetal) Hopefully the canasta's will suit it well...
