I have a yozza (old style) on my 182 an its LOUD! Sounds nice when ur Havin some fun but when u wanna drive normally its a bit annoying, I hear the new style yozza is quiter

As far as I'm aware the rs stamped inlet is an improvement on the original but still not as good as it could be!

Trying it on a vauxhall is no good as it will work differently to a Renault, at idle I think mine reads about 17% on my 182

When you say rough idle? Misfire, hunting? Revs up an down? If the head has bin off (twice) might be worth checkin for air leaks maybe?

Bought an itg maxogen kit for mine, expensive but well worth the money! Had a Ktec 1 fitted before and the itg kit is much better! More responsive and pulls much harder through the rev range! Get saving and you won't be disappointed

Aslong as its looked after, services and belts done don't see there problem, engines them selves seem pretty reliable, asking as oil an coolant levels ok an its warmed up then have some fun! It is a sports car after all ;)

Throttle potentiometer? Had the Same problem in a friends car, u will pay a little more for 1 with a metal pedal but we just bought a standard 1 a little cheaper an swapped the metal pedal off his old 1 ;) a diagnostic check should confirm the fault

I had exactly the same with my headlights! Bought them off eBay in good faith that they were in full workin order an they weren't :( I'm pretty sure you can't get that piece on its own I ended butchering another headlight to get the piece I wanted

U could b right actually, take it out, 1 connector on the bulb will b h1 or 2 connections will b h7

H4 for dipped beam

Clean out the throttle body maybe, just a guess but a good place to start I would say

Check fuses? Somit might of shorted

My sisters Ibiza done the same thing, the plugs would get covered in oil an stop firing, I just used to whip the plugs out once a fortnight an clean em up then it would b ok again, never got round to curing the high oil consumption though ;) you could always try some "engine stop smoke" it's...

Not sure if u can buy the link seperatley I never tried, was a customers car that I fitted it to so opted for a Renault part which was the whole cable, u may be able to ring around some motor factors an see if they could get somit non genuine

That is a fuseable link, I've replaced 1 before and it's the whole cable from battery to starter if I remember rightly, get hold of ur local Renault dealer an order 1 or if there expensive new u could even source 1 from A Clio that's bein broken for parts

Could check all the fuses In the box located near the battery, worth a shot to eliminate that as a possible problem

A diagnostic check will point you in the right direction as it would of stored a fault on the computer, like you said it could b a number of things

Do u loose power at all when the light comes on? No misfire or anything?

Your instrument panel could b goin mental due to flat battery?

Yea wouldn't hurt to have a look , sounds like an electrical fault, a diagnostic machine would make easier

What's the immobiliser light doin when U turn ignition on? Does the light go solid then go out?
