Hi guys so when you wired this you wired column to a 12v source and had the dial wired in? I assume that is all that is required. Also am I correct in thinking that the column has its own ECU and doesnt rely on the cars ecu? Again sorry for digging this up

I eventually want to make it 4wd but for now it will be a 172 turbo 6 speed mk1 clio yes XD

I'm not doing it alone I have some friends helping, I haven't got enough skill to do it alone. But I am determined that it will work. Each of my friends have their own skill and going to utilize those skills. I will make a guide, it should be starting soon

The entire front end i being re shaped and re done, so yes everything comes down to where will it fit best? There is a hell of alot of work to go on, but it will be worth it in the end

I will be fitting a 6 speed 02m box on a turbo'd 172 engine. I am putting in a 6 speed 02m box as it gives me the option of a 6th gear and a 4wd option. I will eventually make it 4wd for now I want to have a higher speed and better gear ratios, which the 02m box offers. When it comes to fitting...

Yeah it is tight, but it will literally just fit, gunna be re-fabricating some of the mk1 bay to make it fit more flush, but it will fit in fine I think. Fingers crossed though measurements are just measurements lol

I also gave the person my word I would strip it, as he was a friend who did not want to see it driven around again. Ah well I made cash on it which was my main aim

I wouldn't risk my license or money/labour on not declaring the mod if it was road legal. I've seen far too many idiots on here not declaring engine swaps, a bit stupid dont you think?

Its a 2l 172bhp engine... I'm 19 with no no claims... its expensive enough on my diesel. Every quote I ever got on a 172 was like £3000 with the cheapest at £1500 with one of those box things.

The clio cup I stripped has now been taken away... they decided to cut it up to take it away lol... The result of a back yard mechanic doing timing wrong... Bought a new top end for £50, set of megane pistons for free. Rebuilding top end in couple of weeks. Got a friend making me a tubular...

Will a TL4 Gearbox off a 6 speed clio dci, fit on a clio 172 engine? Sorry I realized just then I didn't actually ask a question I'm aware of the other work required, I know its hydro but thats not an issue. All I want to know is if the gearbox will fit.
