So got a volt meter onto the back of the stereo and there is power there so am i right in thinking the head unit is dead?

hi all- I have a standard stereo in my 182 which was working fine this morning....got into the car at lunchtime and stereo wont turn on!!?? are they known for blowing fuses etc or is there anything else I should look out for? thanks

so lights have gone off...popped into the garage this afternoon and they plugged it in and said there is an intermittent signal from brake pedal switch??? fob off? or is it a common fault on these? I used to own VAGs and replaced 2 on one car so I know they are an issue...he wanted £55 quid...

surely it could be the wheel speed sensor on the rear ? not sure why it would have been touched but it is a bit of a coincidence?

hmmm...they also did topmounts for me...so do you think they could have busted it when doing the work? is it an expensive fix?
