Its the Jack Frost stages rally, uses the circuit and some of the perimeter roads. There are 3 metro 6r4's out so that will be something worth seeing.

I used 205/45's, they are not any lower as the rim is narrower it makes up for the difference. Cant say i noticed anything changing with the ride. Apparently they are a little faster on track but i cant vouch for that.

Go for 205 wide instead, thats what most do (myself included). Much more choice and cheaper, they fit fine as long as your not running daft low on coilovers.

By any chance are you trying to get hold of 195/45/17's?

No i wasnt in the clio as i had 4 people coming down with me and theres a little more room in the jeep. I was out codriving so didnt mind the cold. Felt sorry for the spectators and marshalls. Yours was the only clio i spotted.

I would suggest people have a quick look at the standard plastic one and use it as a template, i did one for a mates 172 using chequerplate i had spare. We use it for road rallies/12 cars and navigational events and its been fine. Its just as easy on a 197 too, i now run a 10mm kevlar guard...
