its easy to check for no spark mate, are you getting fuel though? listen just check all your fuses under dash and engine bay, 1 by one if your not sure.

I dont know man but a flashing engine mangament light is very serious, if it was me i wouldnt be driving it, in saying that it goes away when you drive is very strange.

if you mean your car is spluttering along, check your fuel filter first, your pump should always deliver more than enough fuel, you will have to get a pressure gauge fitted to the fuel line, but check that filter first.

Thats true to man, he should check all steering arms for wear and tear also, for good measure.

check for fuel and spark first, when turning the car over lossen the nut on the end of the fuel pressure rail to see if fuel is coming through, check spark plugs visualy and check leads using the screwdriver method in the lead, also you could have a bare wire that has shorted against the engine...

that would have been a hard one to spot alright, glad you got it sorted. should help a few others to as a possible solution. :)

hahaha classic, yea man just pull the old one away, and put the new one on, should be self adhesive. or for a cheap fix for awhile a bit of clear sealant maybe or insulating tape until you get a new seal.

the window probably isint seated correctly into the bottom housing, possibly just needs tightend up, just take the door card of and have a look, it could be loose, its not the motor if its going up and down, and its not the cable or it wouldnt go up atol. it could be sticking in the runners...

Open the bonnet pop of the pipes leading to the bonnet washers, check to see if water is getting through then, if not, you will have the take out the wiper motor to get at the window washer bottle, and inspect the pump, there should be 2 small pumps, check to see if its blocked or faulty, simples

Just follow the cable to see where it leads, it must be your problem though, a repair would involve a new earth wire of the same gauge, if theres enough cable there to play with you could cut the cable and strech it to fit to the orginal position.
