Top gear in cleckheaton did mine and can't fault their work in any way!

Yeh mate 285+ vat or sumit like that comes with a 2 yr warranty too so thought it was worth a shot!

Try topgear in cleckheaton! Cost me 330 including synchros for 2nd and 3rd changing and had no problem in the last 6 months

Spot on mate i refused to make it public when all the problems were going on!!! But if its not just me people do need to know!

Its no one i've seen pop up really on this forum all though now i've serched i can find a couple of bits about them! They claim to specialise in the renault sport and there was a few others there while i was there.

Pretty much what i guessed then! They've been spot on so far and just said get it back down and they'll sort it. I havn't said any thing to them about the tensionor yet but i'll do that in person when i drop it off. Thanks for your help

Would that explain the the flat power after 5k revs too

I'll name and shame if its not sorted when it goes back in at the end of the week! Dose the lack of power and eratic idle sound like it could be cam timing issues or could it be some thing else?

Never really posted on here but i've got a couple of quick questions that i think i already know the answers too. just had my cambelt and aux belt change by a local renault specialist and now its running like a pig!! It feels guttless at the top end of the revs and idles all over the place...

Yeh over the next few weeks i should get it sorted needs a new back box cause the one thats on it makes a right racket and it sounds like an engine mounts knocking too and also the usual headlights to sort!! Problem is its so fun to drive i'd rarther be out in it

Just thought i'd say a quick hello. I've been lurking in the background for the last couple of months while i've been hunting my clio down and as of sunday i can say i've finaly got one!!! Theres a few bits that need doing to it but overall im pretty chuffed with it
