What the difference in primary and secondary length on say a 182 manifold vs a Pure motorsport one? Is it this or the better collector that make the performance difference ..?
After needing a new front subframe for the rallycar i did some investigation regards the UK spec cup race car one i have found a few things out.
1. You can still get them from R-sport or i may have the last one made :-)
2. They are sub contracted out for the subframe mounts (fabrication works)...
After the disapointment of an early exit due to a sheared cam vernier dowel pin (timed back up and all OK - should put on my lottery numbers) we did our second event at the weekend at the New Brighton Prom stages, massive entry of 95 and the usual WRC, Millington Mk2 and Darrians etc etc.

Got a car thats had new gearbox fitted and come to start the car the starter click noise and nothing. Check starter Ok and earths and then the engine and its locked solid wont move........not turned a rev since gearbox fitment.
Going to remove starter and loosen gearbox from engine to see if...
Basically which wire goes to what pin (i know ground is in the middle) as my currect loom has a different connector vs the Jenvey type on the TPS and want to put a new connectors on loom (ITB car).
Are the Valeo coil pack connector std connectors you can buy off the shelf? I want to make an extension lead to give the loom some more length to relocat the coil to where i want it. Dont really want to cut the loo to do it.

To change the ECU has ment you have to rip out all the very expensive Reanultsport loom. Only option was to buy a K-Tec ECU and patch loom and software licence and cable for nearly 2k.!!!
Well im working with doing this plug and play with a DTA and it being half the price of the above...
