Thanks for the response, I was under the impression that you need to replace the whole unit on a Clio 182 as it is all,you can buy? one driveshaft has torn boots and there is grease everywhere and the other has a lot of play and clunks...bought it as a project.

Hi All, I have recently purchased a clio 182 and have noticed for the first couple of minutes on cold start, that it runs like a bag of spanners and is barely driveable. The car misfires and wont rev properly, it runs great after those couple of minutes and feels strong compared to my old one...

Hi All, I am coming back into the Clio fold. I am looking at some Recaro Trendline seats from a Honda. What would be needed to fit them to a Clio 182? I am a complete beginner with regards to swapping car seats so go easy on me. Ideally i would buy some full clio seats but they are hens teeth...

Ahh not good, as i said my car runs perfectly and gets good mpg. Still can anyone answer my question regarding the light going out once the fault is fixed? as i don't want to fit the lambda sensor then get the light cleared to find i still have the issue. if that makes sense?

Hi guys sorry to revive a thread.... i currently have the sensor waiting to go on. Is it likely to be post or pre cat sensor thats faulty? and is it a case of trying replacing both and seeing which makes the light go out? I have a ktec sport cat if that makes any odds.

Hi guys, I know its a stupid question but i always find bottom hoses fiddly and the access is poor in my 182! I have a clio 182 and i am looking to do a coolant change, i just want to know the best way to remove the bottom hose? it looks awkward from above to get it from below i have to remove...

Sorry to revive this thread, but it seems a 50/50 split of post/pre cat lambda sensor...... is it a case of buying one sensor and swapping places and seeing which turns the light off?

Cool i shall try that, once ive fitted the sensor will the light go out automatically if its worked or will it require a tool to reset the light?

Hi Guys, My 182 had the emissions light come on about 8 weeks ago and i took it in to have it plugged into a code reader and it came up as a stored code of a misfire... The car was running fine though so i got it cleared and had no more issues..... but in the past two weeks its come back on...

Im in Cambridge so local and up for a local meet.
