What's my 172 worth? It's a 53 plate Monaco 172, in all likelihood needs a new engine. Had an oil supply problem, it was opened up to investigate a knackered tappet and was found to have a hell of a lot of scoring on the cam shafts and head etc. Existing engine had done 114k miles. Bodywork is...
Don't know if you're still looking to fix your lumbar issue. However, I have finally managed to sort mine out which failed last year. This guide should get you on your way: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?348418-Lumbar-Support-Quick-Fix
My problem was worse that this above as the...

I'll pass on the car, but how much for the cat?
Sounds like you are talking about the fuel rail guard. There are 3 holes on the front edge of it, 2 of which have 10mm (I think) bolts in. You will need to squeeze an extensive bar up them to take out the bolts and remove the guard. The injectors will then be revealed.
You will need to remove the bumper to access the ballasts, which are screwed onto the bottom of the headlamps. Only a few bolts and screws, pretty easy there is a guide in the guide section.
I'm not so sure on that... eBay motors section states: 'When you place a bid, you are entering into a contract with your seller. Make sure that you want the item before you bid or buy.'
I thought it had to go underneath the battery for ages... durrrrr. Got there eventually, by that time I was kitted out with a head torch cos it was dark lol!
Ok so I must be missing something here... just cannot suss out how to fit the battery bracket, can anyone shed some light? Presume I have the correct one, small metal bracket, u-bend each side with a 13mm bolt.
As an aside, took the battery out and underneath the mount I found this...
I mean anyone else that might read this too! lol
Yeah I like a good dismantling too myself. Sent my phone to a repair place, they had it for months and didn't do anything then sent it back scratched and the screws put back in on the wonk... Never again!
Yeah I'm cool with doing it, not even my phone, a friend has got me sorting it out for them! Surely those on ebay that are a few quid are going to be plastic or really cheap rubbish... I think you can get an oem (or almost oem) panel from ifixit, but that ships from the states so looking at...
Does anyone know if you can walk into an Apple store and get an iPhone repaired? In this case, a smashed rear glass panel on an iPhone 4. Doesn't really sound like something they'd do, but perhaps someone knows for definite?
Ok cool thanks. In the past it's just randomly sorted itself out, I hope that's the case tonight. Currently in some random grim club in Cardiff. I'll worry about the car later!
Yeah no light on the dash. This was happening about a year ago and a whole host of work was done, apparently including new turbo, for 'about 2 grand' :O Appeared to sort it.. Until now!
Just on the M4 in my friends Golf TDi and all of a sudden there is no response from the accelerator. It gets up to about 70-80 and then gives you nothing, foot to the floor and no increase in speed. Then if you slow down it creeps up very slowly to 70ish and of course starts to die when there's...
