Right so I've sold my 1.2 Clio and bought myself a 1999 1.9 compact 316i. I couldn't afford the insurance on a 1*2 otherwise I would have got one. Any body had any experience with these and know what to look out for.
But this is how it looks so far. It's lowered on some spring. Angel eye...
The would be better. But at the time I had no other choice as i just got on from work cans had work the next day and no way of going to get some. Never a good situation either way
It happened to me last year. Only had the one key. Called out a locksmith and it cost 120 with a new key. But that was on a weekend. Still all the same locks and barrel in the car
The bolt that goes through the lower engine mount/dog bone into the engine has fallen out from my car so I'm needing a new one. Does anybody know the part number or price for this. Also will it come as just a bolt or do I have to get the whole mount.
right so i was driving home about an hour ago, only a 10 minute drive and i heard a knock noise and car started to rock back and forth a little, so took it easy on the way home. when changing gears the gear stick was moving a lot further to get into gear and moving around alot when accelerating...
I had that problem. Mine was the pipes got blocked. So take out the water pump but leave the pipes feeding water to it connected. Get someone to spray it and you'll see if its working. Take the pipes and clean them through and should be all okay. Mines been okay ever since
I had it on my 1.2. Same thing was happening. Bit of contact spay and a clean on the speedo sensor cured it for a week. New sensor was only like 15 quid online and problem solved.
Ill try at the girlfriends house as that's just outside of London too then. Should be moving out this year so will hopefully get a better post code for insurance. But I'll wait til I'm 21 too
I guess so. I had too pay 3200 for my 1.2 for my first year. Was looking for weeks before I bought it. Then not long after I got emailed a quote about 600 less. Don't think my age and area are good for insurance to be honest
so at the moment ive only got a 1.2 clio grande, but ive been looking at 172's and 182's. ive had mine a year and been looking at quotes for them.
cheapest quote ive had so far is just over £4000, which i wont pay. im 20 (with only 1 year NCB, only been driving a year) at the moment and live in...
Happened to me. Thought it was the water pump. So bought it and a new timing belt whilst it had to come off. In the end it was a pipe coming off the water pump that you couldn't see unless you took everything off it. Could be something that simple.
I've heard that if anything like that's us the head. Or somehow water getting into it somewhere else. So it not good. But I'm not very mechanical so don't take my word for it. It's only what I been told by several people.
I'm with insurethebox. There's no curfew on it. Can drive anytime. And payments don't change on how you drive. Just gives you bonus miles if you drive well. But if you go over the miles you'll have to buy more or pay at end of the year.
Come on now. Too much. I knew I shoulda cropped the picture. And we went out on her dads car. Was defrosted by the time we got back about 4 hours later so didn't worry.
Well earlier I came out from the girlfriends house and my car was iced over. I thought it looked pretty good for a picture then the missis jumped in the photo too. So thought why not start a thread of people's frosted cars. Lets see how many people get pics of there cars up with them looking...
Don't forget brother hood and revelations in between 2 and 3. It is a series of games where you need to play from the start. I started at brotherhood and couldn't understand it. So started from 1 and played through.
