Hi all
Looking to see what you think my car is worth
2003 flame red 172
115,000 miles
Built in sat nav, climate control, auto lights, auto wipers, nearly new toyo proxies, exhaust less than a year old (standard) new battery in Feb.
Lowered by 40mm
Induction kit (samco,ram air)
Updated...
My other half's cambelt went on her 1.2 and it has bent one of the valves, I can get the part cheap enough but how easy/how long will it take to change one valve over?
Any help would be great
Thank you :D, ive just spent the afternoon colour coding the dash insert's and fitting a new carbon dial surround, its staring to get where i want it now just a few bits to do :D
I nearly did the same but after reading what people were saying i thought sod it i'l wait and im glad i did :D but if i had a cracked spring i would have gone for Eibach :D
yeah from what a can gather it defiantly goes lower than the Eibach :D the drop looks a lot better in person and they have only been on there two days so once they settle in i'd imagine they might go slightly lower again :D
Thanks lawro.
yeah i think the reflection one is one of my favorite's :D I like the wheels but i think they need something to break them up a bit, maybe some red behind the diamonds's
Thanks guys :D
It makes the car feel alot tighter, has improved body roll, cornering is sharper, its a slightly harsher ride but not massively noticeable, so all in all i would defiantly recommend them great value for money and easy to fit :D
A few pics of the flamer on the cooksport lowering springs me and a friend fitted them yesterday (im quite chuffed as im a monkey with spanners and its given me a bit more confidence :D) I had a squeaky top mount which i discover was due to some previous monkey putting the top together wrong...
When I went in for some work the end of last year a young bloke there had a 1.2 and he wanted xenons on his, but was told that he would have to have working washers and they must be self levelling to pass the mot, not sure about if they are a factory fitted but if they are aftermarket you need them
It was the ultrasonics according to the flashing lights, and when I looked the misses keeps leaving the sun visor down in its way so don't know if thats what is causing it? Will keep an eye on it cheers guys
Bit of a weird one, over the last month or so, my car alarm has going off randomly, everything else on the car works fine, don't know if this is common but its rather annoying.
Cheers for your help guys
simon
The other half got me the cooksport lowering springs, a new active sub, a trolley jack, creeper board, axle stands, a new wheel brace, metal chocks, and some money so I can get my self some new tools, so I can actually start doing stuff to the car myself she's defiantly a keeper
