To confuse things I ordered a non-air con rad for my 172mk1, it fitted the standard mounts fine. The only slight issue I had was that the original fan housing didnt quite sit flush against the rad, there was a 1 cm gap.

I can confirm that the pic is the ph1 shafts, how they come from Renault.

The dipped is HB3 and the main is H7.:)

Try removing the horn and cleaning the contact between the horn and bracket as this is usually what it earths against.

Nope, the dent was right in the middle of the pillar, he drilled a small hole near the edge of the inside of the door at an angle and managed to push it out from behind, no filling or painting, you would never know the dent had been there. You can see the dent it had in this picture.
