I have a Clio 172 cup of a 52 plate in blue it has 121000 miles on the clock and no service history it has nearly a year mot and a few months tax. The body work is in ok condition has a few marks but not to bad. I have just spent 600 quid on a new gearbox 2 drive shafts and front sub frame...
the gearbox just went in my clio 172 cup 52 plate is the normal 172 gearbox the same as the 172 cup and what is the speedo drive? and should it have one?
it looks like a mini JCB digger scoop, would like to know what he was thinking when it was fitted for the first time he cant seriously have thought "yeah that looks good" could he?? :/
its just a standard clio 172 cup it had a loud exhaust but now a standard one it has small black racing stickers near the back wheels apart from that its standard and not sure on name of colour but its the bright blue :o
oil ok checked that already definatly not a stone in the tyre probably sounds louder than a diesel more like a tractor. i shall ask a garage to have a look i think. thanks.
my clio 172 cup sounds like a diesel when it gets warmed up and a ticking noise from top end but drives like normal and performance has not changed either can anyone help with what this could be? thanks
