Torque steer is annoying, it was on here a while ago that changing the tyres can help, as the contis have really stiff sidewalls, but its expensive to just try.

All of them pull to one side or other when u put ur foot down, dependent on the road surface.
I live in norwich and ive nearly chucked myself off the road, or gone into the person im trying to overtake a few times. Just make sure your actually holding the wheel, and your not do-ing the boy...
Ive only had 2 moments when ive had all the wheels locked up, and it was my fault for pushing too hard, abs would have helped but just pump your brake pedal and dont flap!! Oh and change underwear when you get home.... ;)
Yes it seems to be coming from the black thing thats just to the right of the air box and to the left of the manifold.
Also found that if i press the milo trip button when "oil check" is on i get a load of 0s above oil check then the milometer comes on??
When I switch my ignition on (engine not started) im getting a high pitch whine from the engine bay, also my speedo is locked on milometer can not change it. car starts fine, its only just happened.

Its for my mate, he has a 1.4 and his rear o/s brake lining has fused to the drum, its gonna cost £400 to bo done by reno, as they mailto:f@@ked">f@@ked the bearing taking it off aswell!
Have heard rumours that this is a known problem by reno, and there is a mod out, is there any truth in...
Mine has started doing the exact same thing!! Noticed it at crimbo when I went home, and when I came back to work (6hr drive each way). Havent drove the car on any distance since.

Ive had mine there twice, both short notice jobs, been V impressed with them, I work away, but im gonna try and use them all the time.(providing the car dont rattle itself apart by then!)
Ive had a clunking sound from the front right, when im on full lock at slow speeds, thought it was nowt, anyhow got sick & took it to reno. Turns out my top suspension mount was loose!! (handling feels even better now! didnt think it was bad before :oops:)

Not too bad in the wet, found 1st is useless though. Had a moment in the snow, pulled out of a junction turned right, started to turn, then the mother went straight on into a curb!! I was only going slow as well, my front alloy needs refurbishing now. Gutted
My passenger side front seat tilt cable is about to snap, havent been to reno yet, but has anyone changed one or had it done?
If so is it hard/easy, expensive??
What does everyone reckon for the back? dont fancy 6x9s, and cant get a regular sub for the boot (need the space), has anyone done any mods for the back to make room for 15s or 17s?
Got infinitys in the front with a sony hu.
just spent 1 1/2 hrs in the pi**ing rain playing with the crossover & gain sounds better, but I reckon it may be going back tomorrow. Not V impressed and wet! :(
