I had none, I used some self taping screws from work, drilling some pilot holes does make the job alot easier though, the splitter I bought from Skoda dealership approx £12, the part number is on here somewhere.
I always used the dipstick as wasn't aware of the display saying anything other than ok. When I went back to the car this evening it was saying everything was ok but I topped up a little bit approx 200ml. I've now used almost 1ltr in the last 3 months, not a good sign :(
That oil massage though :D
I used to get the "Oil Ok" message when starting the car but this morning I've noticed I'm getting a message Oil with 6 dashes on the top line like my "illustration" below. Anyone know what it is or why has it changed? I check oil regularly weekly-biweekly and that's all fine, it was serviced 3...
Some countries require lights on in the day time by law, there was mention of it being brought in here at one stage but haven't heard anything about it in a while
When I joined first alot of people saying the splitter finished off their car nicely, I never really got it.
With the price of the Fabia one I couldnt not try it and now I think it looks good, it gives the front end a little bit lower stance :D
I've een doing the washing and waxing thing on the car for a few months, waxing it every 4 weeks. I'm going to give it a clay and polish but was wondering is there something I should use to remove any previous layers of wax or will the clay bar do this?
I used silicone today and woohoo it works the bracket is firmly in place. I cleaned the bracket and glass before putting a bead of silicone around all four sides of the bracket, I flatteded this off to approx 2mm with a stanley blade. I held it in place with tape whilst it dried :D
Only problem...
Does anyone know what kind of glue will reattach the bracket that holds the autowiper sensor? I am thinking some kind of metal-glass glue.
I have seen the fix if autowipers are not working but the bracket is already attached in that fix.
Hi I'm Richard in Chelmsford. I recently bought 05 a RB 182, after doing some research on here ( I think someone who is/was a member owned it as it has the cliosport tax disc holder and window sticker). Fantastic car :star::star::star::star::star:
