the amount of times ive seen people reverse into/ open doors into/ turn and scrape peoples cars and drive off is ludicrous
Same thing happened to me a few months back in asda bheath, they turned into a space next to me and took half the door out like yours, unfortunately for them I was in the car
cant wait to see what you do with the exhaust, havent seen this done before, remember to colour code the plastic trim at the back or it could look a bit strange.
regarding the 3/4 plate, standard size is 520mm x 111mm, and the 3/4 plate measures 390mm x 83mm, I thought this was a tad small so...
Just hit 20, and after 2 years NCB I was paying £503 on my 1.2
Then I bought a 172 and I'm paying £970 (parents know a manager at aviva), with all mods declared.
Beg like your life depends on it, also found it helps if parents etc have house/life insurance with the same company you will use for...
leave the interior for a bit, sort the exterior first. 182 rear bumper if youre getting a 182 exhaust look alike?
for me the priorities are side strips colour coded, rear bumper + alloy respray possibly to go down the stealth route
good job none the less :)
Possibly someones new car, parked just off of summerhouse drive in bexley, plates had england flags on the sides, seen it pretty much every day for the past week
Proper nice looking colour blue though, dark grey turninis set it off nicely
yeh mk3, pretty similar to the mk2's. unscrew the rear boot trim and it will soon become apparent, theres also 2 clips either side to pop it out, see photo below
front badge need to pop bonnet and get behind it, likewise the boot need to strip lining back and unscrew
front and rear pop out, use a screw driver with a cloth around to avoid paintwork scratches
plastic trim just slides off iirc, if not use the screw driver technique again
I'm looking for a colour match in aerosol tins, and halfords is the obvious option for me
Could anyone suggest anywhere online/ high street that may be better?
Also, has anyone actually had any good experience will halfords paint/ any horrendously bad cases of paint not matching?
i say go for it at that price, just dont hook them up to sidelights, main/dipped beams, will neaten up the front end even if you dont connect them to a fog stalk, its better than covers imo.
no to the ph1 covers fitting ph2, theyre missing the bit on the arm
Can anyone confirm this clio is the colour D48 nautical blue? I'm pretty convinced its cyclone blue F47, just want some confirmation, looking to by colour coded parts from it

Thanks, Merry Xmas! :D
splitter in orange looks mint, alloys look swamped by the car though, I would have gone with turninis or standard 182 ones.
Otherwise, sweet job youve done
as already said, lose the tints it looks like a van. not a fan of red fog caps, if youre looking to be different maybe do the wing mirrors red too. imo would have gone white instead of red, still a good job though
Cambelt on the 2005 1.2 dynamique needs replacing, its done 71k now so I'm quite sure its long overdue. What sort of age/ milage should it be replaced at?
Dont mind travelling the country, what could I expect to pay?
Looking for a service too if anyones offering a combined deal ;)
Best bet is to check it on a website, do a google search for car history check, will cost you just under a fiver, but I'd rather pay that and know for sure what had happened.
Let us know any outcomes :)
