so not much happening but my clutch is deffo a gonna so will be posting some pics of the clutch being fitted beggining of next week and the brakes are now on hold, also have plans to do inner and outer track rods (i think there shagged).
thought id upload a few pics of the progress over the last week or so
first cam the decate and 2 inch tip
next came these
so these went in the bin
job done
so after some good progress i also decided to put a degree of camber on the back so running bout 2 degress now and then...
so once again i have a clio 172 ph1 in silver this car has been bought to be tracked, so anyway since picking it up around two weeks ago i have made this progress,
completly stripped the interior out including any unwanted speaker cables and rear wiper cables purley for tidyness not weight...
ive recently striped my clio and sold my interior i now have two corbeau bucket seats , these seats are bottom mounting seats if that makes sense and i need a way to install them what sort of frame or bracket do i need dont want to buy a set, just a way to make or get some made,
heres a pic
been stripping my car today and had another idea i moved the module behind the dash shortened all plugs that are to do with airbags tensioners ect then fitted resistors, so basicaly its all behind the dash with all the wiring shortened so its not so messy thought id post it as it may help someone.
ahhh i thought it was just me ive had mine for around 8 months and it is always dropping connection and range is absalutley poo but when its running its quick as u like
i understand that but what about removing sun visors if i was to fit a sun strip that covered the same as my visors would have surley this is a good alternative
ive just stripped my interior as a fast road track car but i now have no visors, if i was to put a sun strip on the car does this counter that or have i just thought up some good old bullsh*t lol, let me know what youve done and what i can do please thanks phil
ahahah not bothered about rattles this is the designated track / fast road car but im gonna leave it in now had a stripped one already lots of road noise but no rattles im moving all wiring and removing all clips ect
so it should just be a case of a bit of road noise fingers crossed lol
So I've began to strip my ph1 but I'm stumped on wether to remove the large piece of tar on the roof has anyone done this and if so does the roof rattle at speed cheers phil
