i was told pretty much the same a while back... the thing is, the r19 is a total mess body wise (vandals) plus i hate driving them.

In the long run wouldnt it be cheaper to go for the 16v? im assuming the 16v is a more reliable and stronger motor that the gtt ?
could a car travel 190 miles with a head gasket problem, if driven say 60 mph all the way ?

i dont know if this guys work has been seen before by any of you but after seeing his work (check the link below) im ready to box up my clio and send it off to him to work his genius on it ASAP ...
All standard RT models as far is i can find out J and up are either Single Point injection, but im sure the later ones are multipoint.
Id say there wasnt a Carbd Clio RT made by Renault at all...
This is all based on an hour of searching round on the net, so poss incorrect...
