Some kind person has treated our car to this. Are there any off the shelf products available that I could use or is this a professional repair job?
It's the rear plastic bumper. Car is pearlescent black.
My Mrs got an iPhone on contract the other day and when going through her options the bloke on the end of the phone told her she can upgrade from a 3G to a 3GS by simply doing the apple software update via itunes. She's a tad annoyed when I told her she couldn't and wishes she'd paid a little...
My mrs has just got an iPhone on contract with vodaphone and has been told the only way to get insurance on it is to go instore. Nearest store is an 18 mile roundtrip and she's disabled so it's not straightforward for her to do.
They can't tell her why it can't be done over the phone, just...
Parents always ask me if there's anything I want so I said a HAF. Nice case to work with and stacks of space behind the modo tray for cables which is handy as my PSU isn't modular.
Twice now I've gone to my library to watch something I downloaded and found a movie there that I didn't select to download. No-one else has access to my pc.
Anyone else had this / heard of this happening?
I downloaded a ringtone from itunes store via my iphone. It displays in the ringtone list and is the default. Clicking on it doesn't play it and calling my phone results in no sound. I've restarted the phone. The other ringtones that come with the phone work fine.
Phone is 3G with 3.1.2 not...
I'm using Gmail IMAP. All I want to do is have the desktop alert (little popup alert, not the envelope) when new mail arrives.
I have "Display a new desktop alert (default inbox only)" ticked. I also have the Gmail inbox opening on startup. The only reason I can think that it's not working...
Hopefully not a repost...

Why can I watch some videos on an iphone/ipod and others say they're not compatible? I've been through my youtube account settings and can't see anything to do with this, nor in the help section.
I'm after the bikini bottom map but can't seem to find it anywhere. I know it exists as I played it about 2 years ago.
Ah never mind, finally found it! On the off chance someone else finds themselves here looking for it as well then here's the link...
Well we've seen Adam's water cooled beast and there always seems to be a post about building a pc on the go, so what have you got right now and what does it get used for? Any immediate upgrade or pimping plans? This only applies to home pc's, not what you might be running at work unless you work...
My brother has recently passed his test and already has his first car. Our dad paid for fully comp insurance for him. He's since fitted alloy wheels and an induction kit but is not telling his insurance company as he can't afford for the premium to increase,
I've told him that this means his...
I guess doing this in the current climate was asking for trouble but I sent my old U600 off and it seems some tosser has nicked it along the way as Fonebank are claiming it has never arrived. I could have sent it recorded but it seemed like an unnecessary hassle and cost doh. It was only worth...
It's my mum's birthday next week, already got her a present but saw this today and bought it as a piss take... you know getting old etc
She may not see the funny side but I know the rest of the family will.
The Sky remote is for scale.
I'm not up to date with various phones and am due a upgrade with 02 now if I want one. I currently have a Samsung U600 that I only really use for calls, texts and the calculator when I'm out shopping lol My current average monthly bill inc insurance is about £30
In addition to the above I'd...
Just a quicky really.
Aside from the size obviously would I notice much of a difference going from a normal 32" (Pannasonic) to a 32" (Sony Bravia) LCD?
Bought this last week, it's the Antec Skeleton. Open air as you can see. 250mm fan at the top and 92mm fan at the front. Not to everyone's tastes I know.
Stuck a new board in today as my old one died yesterday. New one is Phenom II ready. Also swapped the drive from 160Gb to 500GB, 32MB cache...
I've got an 8800GT 512MB at the moment and with the sales coming up thought I might upgrade it to a 9800 GTX+ 512MB but I'm not sure I'll see enough of a performance increase to bother?
I like to play at 1680x1050 where possible.
System:
Athlon 64 X2 4600+
4GB (2x 2GB) OCZ PC2 6400 Dual...
Our web space & domain host has been hacked today so our site has gone down. Can anyone recommend a proven secure host that doesn't charge the earth? Preferably UK based so we can phone them if need be.
My Mrs has a new laptop with Vista 32bit on. Now, every day all day long it's prompting her to install some Office updates:
I've searched the system and cannot find any office products installed, not even readers. If she chooses to install the above updates then they install but straight...
We've got a Sky Wired/Wireless Netgear Router that only has 2 ports, both of which are tanken (mine and Mrs's pc's). Mrs also uses a wireless laptop.
I'm looking at getting an ethernet printer but obviously have no ports spare. What do I need to buy to give myself more ports? Could the laptop...
Me and the Mrs have 14 days left on our NOD32 trials. Looking at the best part of £40 for a 1 year licence, is there an equivalent free alternative or should I just fork out?
I'm not interested in AVG or Avast, they both seem too heavy. Just need AV, no firewall. NOD has been excellent, very...
