    Evo Corse X3MA 15's - Anyone fitted?

You could just cut some flat (5mm or so thick) perspex in 60mm width, paint them white and silicone seal them from behind, once in the center of the wheel. That way they are flush with the face of the wheel and water tight due to the silicone sealer. Maybe even white perspex if its a colour...

In White? If so, the colour combo on RB works well. Always seems to pop, in any outdoor condition. Just make sure you get a decent few coats of ceramic coatings prior to fitting. You don't have to clean white wheels daily like everyone says, just probably a bit more regular than normal.

As above, just painted white. Appliance white is the closest colour match for the white 2118s.

Agreed. And the white decals break it up a bit. Or go lighter with silver or white. Gold won't look good on RB. Be better on the arctic/mondial blues. RB is a great colour but hard when it comes to wheel colours apart from.the "standard colours" and red.

I actually thought the anthracite was a bit too dark for the RB

I think silver X3MA would be my choice if I had RB. That or white, but having had white, I think I'd punt on silver. Makes it look clean. However I've seen silver 2118s on RB and it didn't work for me but that's juts my personal choice.

Probably quite rare these days. Even more so that it's still being used. Some keep but put in garage for years. Great stuff Fletcher.

A good wheel cleaner and arch cleaner/brush?

This lot and the EZ wheel brush is a guaranteed winner. Maybe a cheap wash mitt for the faces. Gtechiq do one for around £13, but you can get cheaper versions that are basically the same.

A good wheel cleaner and arch cleaner/brush?

The EZ wheel is great. Soft enough to push through the spokes but not mark the wheels, hard enough to agitate and clean. I just do all up to the calipers on all 4 wheels, then handbrake off and roll it forwards/backwards so the leftover unclean area is shown and get that last bit.

    Spacers 'guide'/info

@leeds2592 I will say I had 16mm front spacers on et38 2118s and it sat fine, but when I swapped to BCs, the same wheel and spacer setup was too wide. I think this was due to the bolt spacing on the BCs being further away or closer (can't remember which) to the shock body so I think this plays a...

    Spacers 'guide'/info

I think the smallest you can find is 15mm/16mm. You can't go any lower unless it's not hubcentric because the way the hubcentric ones are designed, they have to clear the protrusion of the OE hub behind it. A flat spacer would avoid this, but you run the risk of having little hub left once its...

£1400 for the black tech, £950 for the red select. Hard to price them where they cheap enough for interest, but still get decent mow y for them.

    The new tool thread

Anybody after some toolboxes? We have 2x Mac ones at work, both being bottom cabinets. One is brand new, never used (black tech) and the other (red select) has been used just to store stuff in. Both come with 2x keys per box, but the select doesn't have caster wheels. The black tech has a built...

I had 225lb on mine mate. If I'm honest, I think I could have gone a bit harder, maybe 250lb but as it was a daily and still had to travel with drew, I didn't want it too hard at that point. I think 250lb would be more suited to you.
  27. Jekyll

    Titanium MrBlonde

Am I right in thinking that the 285lb rear will be a higher number because its a separate spring sitting on a perch. If that poundage was on a coilover rear, it would be too hard?
  28. Jekyll

    Coilover helper springs...

Yeah pretty much. They do add some poundage but it's not a lot. So in theory, the extra length of helper spring should take up that slack once the car is lifted.

Cheapest bluetooth solution for standard head unit?

What you need is a denison kit. It plugs into the back of the OE headunit in the CD changer port. It has built in bluetooth so you can stream music through it and still use the stalk control as per normal, changing tracks, volume, etc. I had one in my RB and worked great. Only downfall is the...
