I did a fresh install on my Nexus 5 & 7, no big deal and certainly beats the 'check for system update' button game! Give it a go.
Also, if you have your bootloader unlocked, the new method for rooting on Lollipop is a breeze. Was rooted in under a minute! I believe changing the DPI via root...
I have the x100s and got it really as a decent travel camera - which it's great at, so small and light weight. I have hardly used my DSLR since I bought it it's that good.
That said, it does take quite a bit of getting used to - the fixed lens, you do end up having to change the way you take...
Fantastic pics guys, superb!
I am tempted to ditch flickr and give 500px a go - the massive amount of dross that turns up on Flickr these days (& still makes Explore!) does my nut in.
Is it worth paying for for the additional premium stuff?
Looks lovely that! When I bought mine I was after Red, but then a silver turned up with just the spec I was after.
I loved mine - never had any problems with it, Honda dealers were always great and it still returned +30mpg. If my mileage hadn't increased quite considerably, I'd still have it! Enjoy.
Was just about to say nice buy Gally, and now I've seen you've sold it already! Haha.
Must admit I do enjoy being back in a Blue Oval! I'll be watching to see what you get next! ;)
It's a great lens - I didn't use anything else in a trip to NY earlier this year.
Get one!

I've not done much photography this year after doing loads in 2011. Need to put that right in 2013!
Nevertheless, here's some of the more popular ones from this year:

Awesome car!
I'm proper jealous, although I have to laugh at how you justify your car buys. An A1 diesel to save £££ then to Aston V8 @18mpg...I remember we were both rocking Hologram Grey 1.2s! ;)
I love your tracking shots - the motion blur is so extreme in some that on first glance it isn't immediately obvious what is in focus. Really like all of them tbh - tack sharp too!
I'm not saying these photos are perfect examples (the links mentioned above are better places to start!) but it might help you a little - it's the same car after all!

The car I joined with - again, jumping aboard the *free insurance* deals Renault did back then. A 1.2 16v in the rarer Hologram Grey colour (still love that colour!). It ended up like this:
Full 182 interior / 17" Oz Superleggera in anthracite / Custom Blueflame exhaust.
It was slow as hell...
Lovely shots Dan - have you ever had a play around with this software? Be interesting to see how realistic you could get it with your static shots v's your rolling ones.
I need to get back into my rig photography. Biggest problem for me though seems to be locations - driving around with a 10ft...
lol @ sport mode!
I'd go with shutter priority selecting a speed based on how fast the aircraft are. Harder to gauge is the exposure especially against white clouds (blue sky or dark thunder clouds would be best!). Go -1stop for white / silver planes on your exposure compensation. If you want to...

I just got a print of this - it's a panning shot taken at night from Le Mans.
