    Mk3 200 RB

I’ve actually seen a 225 which would probably be the better car for its size with the kids getting in.

    Mk3 200 RB

So I’m still here but the inferno turbo went a month or 2 ago as I was offered a price I just couldn’t refuse for it. Jump forward to now and if you’re on my instagram you would know I have been looking for a 330/335i LCI touring manual but trying to find one in spec and budget has proved near...

    My Inferno Story...

Before… After… I didn’t use crackle effect paint for the boost pipe in the end just some satin black I had in the garage. Still undecided if the keep cover OEM grey or go Inferno orange with it.

    ***How much is it worth?***

So here I am again getting the itch for something else not long after owning for a year and rebuilding. What do we think? Boosted forged lump, carbon everywhere, yozza… couple marks here an there but nothing major… stacks of history and a fresh mot…

    My Inferno Story...

Spent a bit of time out on the Clio yesterday. The 2 jobs I had to do was strip the 3rd brake light, This was done with much ease and packaged up to be sent to @Touring_Rob to work some magic on it! The 2nd job was a bit more of a chew as it was changing the washer pumps out of the tank. 1st...

    My Inferno Story...

Right in the feels… 😞 and everyday… but if I hadn’t I would never have had my M140i and Meg 4 RS Trophy which were awesome cars.

    My Inferno Story...

Update… So I’ve been doing some miles in the clio whilst I’ve been away shuttling out from a hotel an I have since discovered a couple of annoyances with the Inferno turbo which I didn’t have with the Monaco turbo. Mainly it is the vibration in the cabin! It is unreal! Even at cruising speed or...

    Bowen's 182 pt.2

I’ve never done any real soldering and wouldn’t know where to begin to look for what the resistor is as all mine are rusty brown lol

    My Inferno Story...

So been out to the 3rd brake light again this morning and stripped it down fully, cleaned and sprayed everything in sight and still nothing. I suspect the corrosion has gotten inside one of the resistors and done some damage. Threw it back together and will be sourcing a non sport light to...

    My Inferno Story...

So I’ve been out and stripped the spoiler brake down but with no joy unfortunately… But I did get it out without breaking in so 👍🏻 As you can see from the pictures it isn’t in the best condition on the backside of it. I de-pinned the connector and give them a clean up and a spray with...

    My Inferno Story...

True but I’m not 100% on which pump is for which and if at a later date I wish to put the bumper jets back on I’ve got the pump already 👍🏻

    My Inferno Story...

Cheers @Louis i think I’ve got some electrical contact clearer spray tucked in the garage somewhere so I’ll give that a try 👍🏻 I’ve just been out to investigate my washer pumps and I have the motors running for windscreen and rear wiper but I’m getting no fluid through. I’ve used an airline and...

    My Inferno Story...

Today was MOT day… It passed but with a couple of minor issues but clearly it was a day for orange cars at my local dealer. Firstly it appeared that I have some play in my N/S drive shaft, Secondly I have very very slight play on the in O/S inner rack ball joint, Thirdly my high level brake...

    Paul’s Pearl

The lights look loads better but can’t help thinking it needs the chrome diamond back on the boot! 🤔
  22. t90_lle

    My Inferno Story...

A bit more time spent on the Clio this afternoon, It was supposed to be a wheel clean after the cv boot repair and a quick rinse over. It in fact became a wheel clean, another cv boot repair, filing and sanding the wheels & spacers and nipping up the lower Evol mount leaving no time for washing...

    My Inferno Story...

Yozza is on and fitted… Video does it no justice at all!! £10 64mm stainless clamp… And a silicone flange connection… 😳 MOT next week… 🫣

    My Inferno Story...

After watching numerous videos of exhaust expander tools I’ve decided to cancel the purchase and instead go for a sleeved option. Not only is this cheaper but will save a fair bit of hassle and grief when I can’t flair the link pipe due to wall thinkness, strength of the steal and cheapness of...

    My Inferno Story...

Because the bottom picture is of the removed Milltek system not of the yozza link pipe.
  26. t90_lle

    My Inferno Story...

So I’m going to start this post how I should have ended it… The Yozza is fitted!! But the link pipe is not! I went to the car full of joy this morning so pleased to be fitting such a piece to the inferno but my joy soon turned to despair. I had the Milltek off the car within 6mins, the Yozza...

    My Inferno Story...

So this is what I’ve gone for… The silicone is good for -40 to +250. Nut and bolt combo is m10 x 40mm with 2 type of locking washer, other suggestions welcomed 👍🏻

    My Inferno Story...

Cheers @Brigsy I'm very surprised by the use of silicon though I must admit!! But i guess V banding would be better??
