ok , despite trying numerous times, i think im gona have to let the garage adjust my handbrake (99 clio mark 2) however, id like to some other bits, notably what sized tool do i need to remove and check the spark plugs? 1.2 engine thanks

how do i know when its the pump that needs replacing of if its just the jets that are clogged? I can only get a tiny amount of water coming out of the front nozzles, and nothing outo of the back, like the pump has no pressure to it also, where abouts is the pump located if i do need a new one?

wots the adjuster thing on the handbrake itself inside the car? which part of the heatshield do i need to take off, is it near the cat pipe?

Ok, ive got a 99 clio with rear drums, and at the mo its on axle stands, as im trying to get the rear axle nuts off to adjust the brakes, but i cant get them off! firstly, is it anti clockwise or clockwise? (i know some cars are clockwise to loosen) and how do i get it off without bouncing...

is it not bolted anywhere to the chassis? i wouldnt want to be tugging and pulling it if its attached somewhere not aint very obvious

How do i take the rear bumper of my 1999 clio? I know theres some screws when you lift the bootlid, and also on the edges inside the wheel arches, but where else is it attached to the car?

ive got 15inch 100+ alloys on my 99 clio. im gona be changing discs etc myself, does anyone know if the spacers on there are metal or plastic? they look plastic, and if so where can i buy some more incase they crack when taking them off?

no, i mean the exterior handles, how do i get them of? is it not hassle with window winder, rods etc?

yeah, it always idled quite low, but never stuttered quite as much as it does now is it simple matter of twisting a knob or sumthing? all it needs is a few more revs to be happy

how do they connect up to the interior handles though? i dont wana take it apart and bugger the thing up

my clio seems to idle very very low (about 750 rpm) almost to the point of stalling (u can feel it shudders slightly) is it easy to adjust the idling speed? i read it was a prob on 16vs, but didnt see mention of 8 v?

is there a way to take of the door handles to paint them on 99 mk2 clio?

well i think the white colour shows its gone through to the colour paint? maybe im wrong, cause like i said its barely noticeable when the cars wet. that was to strip back to the metal etc, for the drivers door, rear quarter, not sure bout the bumper stil cant afford 800 quid though

i think its beyond the help of t cut to be honest? its not that the metallic has lost its shininess, its almost as if something has gone wrong with the laquer itself. someone told e in a bodyshop its as if someone had thrown brake fluid over it its monaco (peralescent) blue

hmmm, its hard to describe, its as if ive ran over it with sandpaper, when its dry it goes a white blotchy colour, when its wet you wouldnt think there was anything wrong with it

ive gota 1999 clio, and basically need the drivers door, and rear quarter panel sprayed, along with rear bumper im in real predicament, cause the paint work looks crap, and ive had my car from new and hate to see it in this state, but i cant afford to fork out £800 for bodyshop to fix it...

finally got it fixed, as it happens it was s imple thing to do, but still had to take both bloody headlamp units out again! just hope they tick it off tomoro then!
