I'm already double my insurance to pay for a 182 and to go fully comp. I pay less than half for my GTi now than the quotes I have been getting on 182's, never mind Trophy's!

I'm look for 99% perfect condition, low mileage, full service history, within price range and the work (cambelt, servicing at the right times etc..) that has been done to it. Cup packs are a bonus. Edit - Argh, frickin' hyperlink :mad:

I agree with the above. Stripped out cars are no fun to drive day to day. Loud, cold and rattly. Depends what you use the car for I suppose.

I've only just come across the ad and need to ring up tomorrow to see about service history in more detail and cambelt etc... It *looks* immaculate and low mileage... I just can't decide if I like the colour or not? I LOVE the Trophy, trouble is, it knocks my already ludicrous insurance quotes...

No, the car was in group stock at a dealer, so I saw pictures of it. I don't know what the cloth intrrior looks like :) is there only one type of cloth interior? This one had 62,000 at £4795 and a 54 plate.

Hmmm, I've just been to see an Inferno Orange 182 wutj anthracite wheels and cloth interior, does this mean it may have the cup pack? How would I tell for sure, other than jacking it up and measuring the bolts underneath which someone mentioned...

Stick him in a padded cell and chuck the odd bucket of cold water over him. That should do the trick, unless of course, you're talking about yourself. In which case, self harming seems to be popular. Hope this helps :D
