Morning All,
Having had the power supply die last week on my iMac (replaced under applecare) I've realised it's really time I backed up all my stuff.
So, I'm going to start using time machine and backing up all my music/photos etc. - but what's the best HD? I've not got LOADS of stuff, maybe...
I think there's a few of these kicking around the forum now, Rob's been the one that springs to mind first.
Sold the 182 a few weeks back, and bought this 2003 '03 BMW Z4 3.0i with 87,000 on the clock - and I love it
Spec wise it's got the electric/heated seats and the OEM wind deflector...
I'm not sure if this is a ridiculous question and I half think I know the answer but...
The Clio is going, a new car will be coming soon after it's gone. Insurance expires 12th June, ideally I'd like to sell the clio before then.
I rung Adrian Flux yesterday to be told that the company won't...
Hello detailing people.
As my van snapped a gear linkage bracket yesterday, I was 'working from home' today... so it was time to clean the Clio.
Disclaimer - I'm quite new to this, so if anything the wrong way round/incorrect please do let me know :) All criticism taken as constructive (except...
Thinking of getting rid of the 182 this year for an R26 and there's a few bits on the car I've always meant to get round to tidying up. The question is, would you bother? Can't decide whether I'd be better off paying out a few quid to get them put right in the hope of getting more for it or...
Just a punt in case anyone else has had this issue...
The last 3 films I've got digital copies of (from Blu Ray triple play jobbies) won't sync to my iPad. I've already got several films on there no problems, however the last 3 films and also 4 x 12 days of Christmas episodes all come up with...
I've decided I feel I've got to grips enough with my D50 and 18-55 that I want another lens or two.
I'm probably going to go for a Nikon 55-300mm Zoom lens, and also fancy a fixed lens.
I can see the 35mm is cheaper - but does the 50mm offer more versatility/is it worth adding to my kit over...
I'm after a desk for my 27", as it currently sits on a chest of drawers which is frankly neither comfy nor stylish. Wood or glass, not really fussed just after some inspiration as I know a few people on here have them...
Was parked next to a Megane Trophy in Prince Bishops tonight about 6.30-8, and a passed a LY182 coming down Framwellgate about 8.10... gave you a flash and a wave :) Looking good!
Battery levels are fine, but my iMac has recently started losing the mouse connection and it can't find it again, seems to need a restart and sometimes that doesn't even do the trick first time. Also had the keyboard 'lose' itself a few times of late...
Anyone else experienced this?
Thought I'd stick up some pics of the 182 after a proper clean and since it's got it's new CF diamonds on
chris205 m/c polished the car over the bank holiday 2 weeks ago, since then it did 500 miles from Durham->Hull->Brugges and back, so it was a bit mucky and needed a clean:
Snow Foam
Dodo...
I'm thinking of having the Turini's refurbed at some point this year, and may get some 182 wheels to run over the winter.
I've been thinking of possibly doing the winter wheels a whacky colour, not sure if I'll ever do it BUT...
Could someone PS the 182 wheels on my car below red (Capiscum...
I'm aware of the issues that existed with the bonnet catches on the Clio's, however I think this is unrelated.
When the bonnet is shut, it doesn't actually sit flush, as can be seen in this picture:
However it is possible to push it down so it sits flush, but it just springs back up...
As I've got an hour or two to kill, thought I'd document the progress of my 182.
I bought the car in August 2010 after selling my Fabia vRS, drop in mileage due to job change allowed for a more fun car.
When purchased the car had just under 51k miles on it. Unfortunately, at the time I didn't...
Bonxy, scott1205 and myself had a good ride out over the moors and up to the Hartside Cafe - much fun was had by all, tyres and brakes we're certainly warm...
Bit photo crazy...
Nice and clean to start off with:
Up at Hartside Cafe:
Just down the road from High Force near an epic...
As one of the unlucky 9 people to own LY 182's without a cup spoiler, it's always annoyed me - and it's always mentioned when posting pics (quite right too).
So... thanks to Tom at Wests Renault we've gone from this:
To this:

So much better! Crappy iPhone...
Has anyone else got these on there Clio? Mine we're a present from the O/H, but having issues...
I've come to fit mine tonight and neither fit - want to sanity check I'm not been thick...
Front
Just seems to big?! No way that's going to bond where the chrome one goes
Rear
One side is...
Gave the car a wash and cleaned the wheels up, then went for a quick drive down the road.
I know there will be many 'sheep' comments, but I like them so :rasp:
These pictures make me hate the person who didn't buy the cup packs when it was new even more...
And more attempts...
Last time I posted up pics it stood like this:
Since then I've removed the side stickers, spent what feels like a million pounds on putting stuff right, added a few bits of carbon (more to follow) and most recently put the wheels from Trophy No. 007 on it :)
Plan to have it properly...
I've been searching all afternoon and can't find the answer to my question...
No longer have any air blowing from climate control yet display works fine, so I've assumed from info on here that it's a heater resistor pack that needs replacing. Got one today from NE Renault Parts second hand and...
