If people were still asking what's what then it obv wasn't `that' clear. I was merely summing up the required info in to one post for ease. I wasn't trying to take credit.
Hi, I know this thread died a while a go but I've finally got round to fitting the parts I bought for my 172 Cup Clio.
I bought 2 x SS6263 inner track rods from EuroCarParts
and as the attached image shows, the rods are EXACTLY (to the mm) the same length as the original cup ones
I also...
Saw this on Facebook over the weekend;
'off the shelf' map has been sent to RS Tuning for review and found to be, well... the results speak for themselves!
http://www.facebook.com/pages/RS-Tuning-Limited/202606226448512
- should be the first post with the blue/white graph on it. It's caused...
Tried to order the cheaper ones but the site in the OP is noe sold out. Ordered the more expensive ones instead from the same site.
FYI they've now added a ruler under the arms on the website so that you can see the length!
My front o/s caliper is seized on my 53 plate 172 clio cup.
I've got quotes for refurbishing it and they range from £90 + delivery to £120+ delivery!
Euro car parts sell brand new (or refurbished calipers) for £78 or £88 so it's easier to just buy a replacement...
BUT...
they have two shown...
No I couldn't ;) There is no way I could have put the same map on my car as Paul has, and I don't have access to a rolling road.
I'm more than happy with the map, the service, the price I paid and any other aspect of my map. I'm glad others are so concerned about whether they feel I got value...
Had my 172 cup remapped at RS Tuning on Wednesday night.
When I bought the car it had a Dyno Dynamics Rolling Road graph from KTEC racing noting 162bhp - totally standard car.
After purchasing the car I fitted a straight through de-cat, the car has no other mods at all (standard exhaust etc)...
Fitted a de-cat to my otherwise standard 172 cup.
The car drives noticeably better, it felt 'held-back' somehow with the CAT in place. (That's not to say the CAT wasn't blocked/deteriorated).
very very impressed with the car since it was fitted, feels alot better to drive and with a totally...
Hi Keith,
just knocked up some ducts to get a bit more air into the holes :) I'd swopped the fluid to race blue so never got any fade, was just very aware that the brakes were getting hot. Once my duct/scoops things are on I expect it to be a lot better. I'll get some pics up this weekend when...
Yeh - went after dinner so got the afternoon session for £65 with the wife and a passenger for free!
Always try and keep the car clean - gets washed before it goes back in the garage; bit sad I know. I'd removed the foglights and added some ducting through to the arch liners, but still felt the...
My second day at Blyton - lovely little track that is great to get to grips with the car. Took one of my mates along whos an ARDS instructor as well and by the end of the day was noticeably quicker around the course. I also let the wife have a couple of sessions as well which was good (as she...
I really don't get why you keep asking whether or not it's worth claiming?!
Assuming the car you ran in to the back of is damaged (which judging by your car it will be) then THAT person will be claiming off YOUR insurance meaning you will HAVE to pay your excess - regardless of whether or not...
I fitted a set of these pads last night ready for a trackday next weekend.
Discs are Brembo HCs that have done about 2,000miles with Ds2500 pads.
I went for a gentle 5-6 mile drive to make sure everything was OK. Haven't properly properly given them death yet but I notice that under braking...
