So I have covered around 1,500 miles in my new Clio 200 and was just wondering from anyone else who has one, do you think it is as fast as you thought?
Does anyone else get the feeling as if it almost has turbo lag!? For example when I am in second gear say around 20mph, if i then decide to...
Hello, I have had my clio 200 now for 2 weeks and am still running it in (haven't gone above 4000 rpm).
I am getting 26 MPG at best, how is this possible!?
The combined fuel is supposed to be 34.4 so how can I not get close to that driving this slow!
What are you getting?
Anyone live near Stourbridge and want to organise some indoor karting today?
It's £20 for 3 sets of 10 minutes, approx 20-22 laps per set depending on how fast you are.
You get a print out after each race on all your lap times, fastest lap, position on the daily leaderboard and some pointless...
Yea next time I buy a car I won't look at the condition and test drive it, I will look into my crystal ball to see what will happen in two weeks time with it.
Oh cause of the recalls...hmmm
But Honda would be my choice :)
Shame, it's my 4th Clio...never had a problem with the others! Technically 5th if you include my gf's clio that I also drive!
found out the cigarette light doesn't work today so I can't charge my phone with it, the clutch makes a wierd noise when I have it down (changing gear), and the CD Player noise has come back...I'm fed up now.
So I have the car back now. Engine sounds fine, somehow the wheel bouncing has stopped, awesome. The CD Player WAS fixed however after driving for just over an hour it as come back with the clicking when switched on or off. I'm going to take it to my local Renault garage and have that repaired...
For a PH1 172 your looking at:
<£2000 - 90K mileage, fair condition
around £3000 - 60-70K mileage, good condition
There are often good deals on forums and Pistonheads though...but £2k Max budget it tight.
Unfortunately can't shed any light on the actual fuel consumption, I have never owned...
This is the 172 yes. I think I have no choice but to keep it. I am due to collect it Tuesday but will speak for the last time to Trading Standards before to make sure I can't give it back. In all fairness the garage has rectified all the issues so I am a bit happier about keeping it now...shame...
I don't mind if there is nothing wrong with the car. I don't want to be causing any damage to it though. I was thinking about buying traction control for it too..?
ahh right, I'm picking up my 200 in a couple of weeks, will remember not to do that change lol.
I know I will learn how to stop the bouncing but i'm guessing I won't be able to drive at the cars full potential.
