No. Both original UCH and replacement UCH (with replacement ECU and key) gave no cranking.

Yes - i suspect it's a relay/wiring somewhere but the garage where the car is has allegedly checked these and found nothing. RAC couldn't find anything by the roadside either. It's becoming clear that I need to find a specialist - the garage where it is are clearly over their head. thks

Thanks - I looked into this but the car wont even crank - that seems to be occurring in most of this instances on the forum where the a diagnostic tool has fixed the immobiliser.
