when starting the car up it makes a noise like a pop or knock as if there is slight play in some thing, will this be the strut top fault and do the washers cure this.
i wouldnt be too sure about not seeing any round here, im from the wigton area and regularly travel on the a595 and ive seen as many as four 182s in the same day
I have found a hose that will fit on my car but it doesnt have a breather pipe attachment, do i need to buy one of them catch pot thingys or just fit a little breather filter to the end of the pipe
yes, its definately some thing to do with the switch, as soon as it is pressed it just pops out again but if you hold it in you can use the steering wheel buttons and you feel it working, but as soon as you let go of the button by traction control button it pops out
just noticed my cruise control isnt working, when you press the switch in the lights activate on the dash but as soon as you let the butoon go it bounces back out, if you hold it in with your finger you can set the speed and you feel the speed change but again as soon as you let go it bounces...
thats what i did, i fitted the system from the cat back but never tightened any thing, the first thing i tightened up was the rear mounts but they were badly out of line, ill have another blast when the weathers a bit better
forgot to ask aswell, would it make a difference if i took all the heat shielding off as a few of the nuts have fell off and it rattles from time to time
i havent used any paste or sealant as id forgot to use it, not blowing anywhere, miles quieter than the last exhaust, really pleased with it, ive only got three mounts though as i had to take one off that was getting in the road, it sounds like i need to find one of these mounts,

fitted the exhaust today and what a pain in the ass to get it all lined up and looking neat.
my old exhaust was a k-tec stealth and the mounts had been cable tied as they had worn but ive had to cut the cable ties and redo them, now the left side back box is tied to the top of the frame and the...
so has it cured the problem then buddy as im having serious issues with my arse end , one day shortly im sure im not gonna make it to work but dont know whether its worth changing the shocks as moneys a bit tight at the minute and i only really want to change them if it has to be done.
im going to be fitting my v6 air box shortly and want a silicon induction bend, the samco ones have the breather pipe integrated into it but am i right in thinking i would be better off buying a bend without the breather pipe and connecting the breather pipe to a seperate filter to catch oily...
dont forget the ekotec valve and fse power boost valve and the silver thing on ebay which cuts air up before the throttle body, these are really worth while.
can any one tell me whether the coil pack failing on a 1.4 is a common fault as my mothers had to replace two in 11 months based on what a mechanic has told her, both times was at this time of year.
i know of a similar thing with escort rs2000s (150bhp) using escort 75 diesel van lower arms as the diesel van parts are hardwaring for usage.
the kangoo could be the same with regards to the mounts
mines actually held up with cable ties at the moment, no pipes coz i didnt notice the thread that explains that.
i wouldnt recommend that you do it long term though as there is more vibration and the exhaust does clatter about a bit, iv got ties centering the exhaust to the bracket by tying it...
phoned renault today for a v6 espace air box and before i ordered it i just thought i would check i have the right numbers
the number for the air box is 7700 260 096
and the number for the strap is 7700 267 902
by the way, what is the strap used for
