I'm pretty sure the PE2 is now out of production? I couldn't find any when I was looking to buy a few months ago. I got Michelin Pilot Sport 3 instead and they're at least as good as the PE2s they replaced and supposed to last longer although I havn't done enough miles to find that out yet.
Thanks.
Now I've got them off I've noticed the old offside cable is actually a fraction shorter than the new one I'm about to put on! Was not expecting that! The nearside is a little stretched though. The renault tag is still on the old offside and I can read it says 82002282xx so they...
Part numbers are 8200228260 and 8200228347. Invoice doesn't give any indication what side is which.
One is yellow and the other is black and the black one is longer.
Any ideas?
Because it was gunged up and incredibly stiff I decided to dismantle this and clean it up. Water had obviously been getting in through the rubber seal and the shaft was pretty rusty.
So - out with the emery, cleaned it all up and greased it.... rotates like a good un now.
However - I...
That flare is so obviously too small a diameter I'm really surprised that Scorpion doesn't simply change how they manufacture it so they end up with a flare the right size.
Scorpion are supposed to be a professional outfit.
Main issue I have is that the windscreen washers remained frozen up even after a 25 mile trip!! That's despite having put in the anti freeze stuff......
Anyone know if u can get a washer/nozzle heater kit for the 182? :(
I have a 182 with the cup suspension and aero pack with 27,500 miles on the clock and if anyone offered me a measly £5,500 for it I'd tell them to take a running jump. :rasp:
Whilst screwing a front caliper back on to its brake line it jammed momentarily and the connector began to rotate relative to the hose.
Is that supposed to happen? :S
This was the first one I tried so not sure yet, if no luck with the bleed nipple or some "gentle" persuasion will give up and try the other side to see if it works.
Rear piston needs to go in to accomodate the carrier and pads but it just doesnt move in when turned clockwise. But if turned anti clockwise it still moves out.
Whats going on?!?!?
Personally I don't think I'd go for either. I'd much prefer to find another 182 because it's simply a much better car. Even if you found a high mileage unit and spent money on a complete refresh it would still be a better deal than either a 200 or a Megane 250.
I like Suzukis.. In addition to the 182 and the Legacy GTB we also have a Cappuccino.
657cc, 3 cylinder, 12 valve, twin cam, turbo and 55mpg... Spends the winter in the garage and only comes out when its warm and dry..
I've broken the black plastic fastener that holds down the top of the grill on a 182. It's the one with the screw head centre thing that's supposed to pop up when you turn it.... This one didn't!
Before I wander into my nearest Renault dealer (25miles away) does anyone know if it's...
Evening all..... I've recently bought a racing blue 182 with cup suspension and aero stuff that's only just got 21,000 miles on it....
I also own a Suburu Legacy GTB and a Suzuki Cappuccino.... :D
Yes..... I know... but the fact is that the Cappo is great fun in the summer up here in...
