I wondered what those black bits were. That reminds me of my mates Nissan Pulsar GTR that has a spring loaded umbrella slot in the door shut and he still has the original Nissan umbrella

Maybe he hit "8" instead of "."
+1 If got one of these as well and love it. the colour of it matches the interior and also one of the illuminations matches the dash lights really well
Also before buying a headunit any where try Matt at MT Audio on here first as he might be able to sell it to you for a better price
My seats are playing up the passenger one is really stiff hoping when I get a chance that greasing it up will help, but the my drivers seat starts squeaking every now and then and I have to move it to stop it squeaking. Irritates me any one got a similar problem and a way of fixing it?
When you have it all wired up and the headunit on does the Power light on the Amp come on?
You will be best of getting a multimeter so you can see if you are getting 12V from the power and also 12V from the remote when your headunit is on. you can get them from somewhere like maplins they got...
On my GFs Ka I put the keys in and it didn't budge, had a look on a Ka forum and someone said that you have to pull the keys towards the doors. Tried it and it came out easily.
Hi Guys
My read number plate light has corroded
I looking on ebay and a new bulb holder is only like £10, but the wiring bit is £40 that seems a stupid price anyone know where to get it cheaper...
heres a link to the specs: http://www.alpine-electronics.co.uk/products/product-singleview/cd-head-units/cde-114bti.html
Looks good bluetooth, ipod lead out the back, 4x50w (though on caraudiosecurity it says its 4x45w)
I went for the CDE-126BT...
TBH better to have Ipod lead come out back. You can go though the hole for the latch at the top of your glove box to the back of the HU without needing to any of the dash apart.
