There's no way of getting a considerable amount more power out of a Clio without spending silly money.... ie. ITB's, turbo, 'charged.
Get your money back and buy some Bilstein coilovers
They're lovely seats, but would look odd in a French car I think.... They're a proper JDM brand.
Buy a pair of Bimarco Futura's..... About the same price and they're FIA apprOved!
Prolines hardly lower the car at all... 10mm iirc? Sportlines or nothing in my opinion. For reference, here is mine on sportlines from when I bought it
Firstly, try using these ,.?!':;
Secondly, supercharger conversions are very expensive and very rarely come up for sale second hand. That is a very good dyno result, where was it done?
I've had a search but can't find anything....
Can anybody tell me what a bare 172 cup shell weighs? Just weighing (excuse the pun) up my options with a possible track project.
Cheers
2118's are heavy wheels.
The answer to that question is really, buy the lightest you can afford. Team dynamics pro race1.2 are a good balance between strength / lightness / cost.
When I went to Bedford there were a few yozza decats there and nobo
dy got pulled off.
As said, they make out like they're strict, but in actual fact they just pulled them to the side and suggested they back off going past the mic.
And yeah, Boosh had a yozza Decat.
Ahhhh.... the newbie pipes up with some more useless information....
In what way is a 182 with cup packs 'better' than a 172 cup? Care to share? Please don't tell me I'm a 'fan boy' or anything similar, just because I own a 172 cup. I did an awful lot of research before I chose to buy one, and...
Yeah they'll fit just fine.
Be aware that the 'DS performance' pads AREN'T the same as ds2500's though.... The DS performance ones are more or less equivalent to OE pads.
Only get the cup packs if you are 100% certain that you never want to get coilovers.... There are very very few options that are any good in cup spacing.
If you have the money, buy a trophy.
Yozza make a race, stealth and race-stealth. The supersport isn't a yozza system.
They're all exactly the same maintenance wise etc etc. The decision is:
If you want it stealth and quiet, stealth.
Stealth and loud - stealth race
Loud and under bumper - race. (the man's choice of exhaust)
Love it when people spout information that is completely unfounded, how did you work out that a 182ff is the best if you want to upgrade suspension? You actually couldn't be more wrong.
Afaik apex are the only people that offer springs with that sort of drop... But eibach don't go that low for a reason. It will ride like s**t and ruin your shocks.
If you want it a bit lower, buy sportlines, if you want it real low, buy coilovers.
Dated.... Lol. It's basically exactly the same car just with a stealth exhaust.
Literally, if you want two exhausts, buy a 182. If you want a stealth, buy a 172. Job done.
Breaking it isn't really an option if you don't have much space mate.... You'll just be left with a load of partsthat nobody wants and nowhere to put them. Selling it as is may be your only realistic option!
Otherwise, I'd say, fix it up to a mechanically sound leveland keep it as a track b**ch.
