The bumper off helps when it's up on axle stands and your leaning over and working at the back of the engine. Gives you a bit more space to get closer to the car and will stop you scratching it...
Got confused with the live and earth and just presumed that what it was. And have heard/seen...
To help you out a bit...
Since there is a lot of people saying getting the starter motor out of a 182/172 is hard/a tricky job. And you need to unbolt the exhaust etc. Thought I would make this.
I manage to get the starter motor in and out within 10 minuets using this method.
1) Remove the...
I made a guide in the guide section on how to remove it and replace it, without removing the manifold like most people say you have to.
Here is a pic of where it is when your looking down behind the engine:

Yeah seen that earlier. Wonder why they have dropped the price though! I'll be over in fife over the weekend so if I can find somewhere that sells nae danger I'll probably head up, basically a free day out :p
Also I have a ph2 172 gearbox if anyone wants it, can bring to KH. The diff started...
For the Saturday night am sure is free to get into but will check. And to get in on the Sunday it's £12. I'll definatly be up on the Saturday night as long as the weathers half decent. Still undecided about the Sunday though.
I might be there Sunday if I haven't got anything else to do. But will probably be at the trackscotland night on the Saturday if any of you are doing that as well.
It's a proper event/day Sam it's a time attack and a super lap Scotland I think, off the top of my head.
Might head to this if I am not doing anything on Sunday. But there's a TrackScotland night on, on Saturday 6-8pm will probably head up to that never been to a TrackScotland night
Didn't look like there was any proper photographers at the PFC to me, well by late afternoon when I turned up :o and haven't seen many photo's getting posted on facebook etc. of the day either though :S
Here is a few off Flickr of some Clio's not sure if they are of anyone on here though...

Was quite a good day out. I turned up a bit late...

First time taking photo's on a track in a few years, so not...
Not in ear ones... But I would really look into getting some AKG 450's.
Was looking for new earphones and come across them and never looked back. Sound quality for the money is so much better then any in-ear ones I have used or came across for the same sort of money.
Similar thing happened to mine, turned out the be the lower earth strap.
Way to test it out is the a jump lead and put it on the negative on the battery and the put the other end on the engine block some where. If it starts then its a bad earth.
Yeah a good remap will be at least £200+ tbh
And I wouldn't bother if it's an auto as well. Usually kills the box, especially if it's got over 100K on it and the oil hasn't been changed. Even thought it's a 'sealed for life' unit it's recommend to change the oil at about 70K and if it's not...
All motorway sitting at 70 is very doable.
My trip mpg sits at around 37ish doing about 60/70% motorway driving sitting at 60-70mph, and the trip says I have about 420 miles till empty with a full tank.
Have gone from Glasgow to fife to Aberdeen and back on one tank which is about 160 miles...
For anyone that's interested. I couldn't find any software that worked, but could have been my cable. Anyway...
