Hi guys,
Need to sort some suspension issues which means having the car up on stands for a few weeks.
Where is the best place to put some stands for this length of time? And any other tips appreciated.
Thanks,
Rob
Deffo the oil gone I've had the wheels off so many times, looked at the entire drive-chain/suspension and had a mechanic look at it.
It's not VERY easy to lift but I'm pretty strong. Deffo gone and in need of replacing or servicing.
Hi guys both front FK coil-overs have dropped their oil so I need new ones, or service them.
Does anyone know if they're serviceable and/or you can just buy front shocks as they always only show then as a set of 4.
Either that or buy some old ones from someone off the forum.
I came from Jap cars....and am going back as soon as I can afford to.
"Once you go Jap, you don't go back"
Don't expect reliability, build quality or cheap available parts from these.
Re: how do people lower their cars 50-60mm when my driveshafts are rubbing with just
If rubbing they'll probably cause major problems very soon. Bad angle.
Coming from an 18 year old Jap car (that never missed a beat or cost me a penny over petrol/servicing) this 4 year old French car is a load of w**k....I hate it :(
Never be jealous of something someone has bought that put them in debt. There's another topic about asking young people how did they afford their car....most probably have it on tap.
Re: how do people lower their cars 50-60mm when my driveshafts are rubbing with just
600mm on every corner? Surly that's not correct. A proper corner weighed (setup) car will never be the same at every corner.
I need some new suspension and am skint.
Was looking at these and wondered if anyone has them and what they think of them. Are they better than stock (182)?
Will be only used on North Wales roads.
